I’m getting an error with this version (and Processing 1.01) complaining that it has been compiled with Java 1.6. Can you please recompile and re-upload?
That was an issue with 0.8.9.1, but 0.8.9.2 should work fine.
I am also getting the error with this version (0.8.9.2) and Processing 1.0.1… which complains that libraries compiled with Java 1.6 are not supported (requires Java 1.5).
it is weird, I’ve never seen this error myself, and even though I’m compiling with JDK 1.6, I use 1.5 as target.
Anyways, here there is a version compiled with JDK 1.5:
Let me know if it works for you.
Interesting… it doesn’t even see the library. I switched back and forth between 0.8.9.2 and the fix, making sure the folder structures are the same (inside “Libraries” in the sketchbook. The 1.6 JDK version complains about incompatibility, and the 1.5 JDK version complains about a missing library (“The package ‘codeanticode’ does not exist…”) I’m somewhat of a Processing newbie… perhaps there’s a solution I’m missing…
Sorry… the 1.5 SDK one works… it was being picky about the folder name. Thanks for your help! :)
Ok, here is the “official” 0.8.9.4 release on sourceforge, which is compiled with Java 1.5 and also includes some minor bugfixes and additions:
